Nickel Magnesium
NiMg is a Nickel based alloy containing 14 to 18 percent Magnesium and a controlled amount of rare earth elements. NiMg is used almost exclusively by the Foundry Industry as an additive for the production of Ductile Iron. To a lesser extent the alloy is also used to deoxidize and/or desulphurize steels, cast irons and Nickel alloys.
