MetCast supply an extensive and increasing range of products from
Cast Metal Services Pty Ltd. CMS specialties include mould paints, refractories and patternmaking consumables.
MetCast are still looking after Sorelmetal and Zircon for Rio Tinto,
Mars Brand Crucibles, Selee Ceramic Foam Filters, Rand York Chromite
Sand, Asbury Graphite and Ludox by Grace Davison.
We stock an extensive range of Metals, Ferroalloys and Master Alloys
as well as many miscellaneous foundry requirements.
Steph has been with MetCast for 8 years now. Daughter, Cassandra, is
in her second year of school and another baby is on the way. Jacob
Lindahl is working hard to learn all of the ins and outs of the import,
ordering and dispatch work to cover for Steph.
Gordon has been with MetCast for 6 years. He recently completed an
AFS online course in methoding passing with honours. Gordon and Bronwyn
have their hands full with two
daughters, Grace who is nearly four years old and Charlotte who is 9 months.
Nick Bryan is working on our steelworks business.
Mike is currently chairman of the industry association,
Casting Technology NZ Inc at
www.castingtechnologynz.org. Mike returned to China in April leading an industrial tour.
The group visited several foundries and attended the massive Metal +
Metallurgy Asia 2006 trade show and the Congress of Foundry Directors in
Beijing.
